Household of Christ church campus

Client Background

Household of Christ (HOC) was established and planted in September 2003 by lead pastors Bernard and Belinda Mulder. The first service saw 20 chairs packed out in their home. After 2 months HOC moved into in the Magister’s Hall and from there to the Round Table Hall in Pretoria. The church moved into Die Wilgers Hoërskool in 2006 where the first 100 chairs were packed out. In December 2014,  God opened another door and HOC as we signed an “offer to purchase” on a piece of land in Mooikloof to establish our 1000+ seater ‘forever-home’, a solid base, and a permanent place of worship for Household of Christ.

Our Challenge

The client requirement was for a fully integrated Audio, Video, AV, and Lighting Solution which would be future-proofed and expandable.

The ability to produce videos and recording sin-house was also a prerequisite.

Strategy & approach

Core Infrastructure:

A dedicated AV ICT infrastructure was installed utilizing Netgear Core switches and Fiber links.

Audio DSP and Control is via QSC Qsys Core 110 F and associated touch panels and I/O’s around Campus

Digital signage, projection etc is administered using AVoIP infrastructure, via Gefen transmitters and receivers, giving super flexibility and expansion possibilities. This enables the client to send Video/AV from any source to any destination on the AVoIP network in the campus.
