Our Challenge
The brand initially started with a store set up and needed to expand with a head office. Agera was tasked to assist Bathu with this and provide a full turnkey solution providing Integrated electronic services, background music, Audio Visual, and Security solutions.
Strategy & approach
Security is currently an extremely important feature for a business such as Bathu, whether it be to keep intruders out or to monitor any risk as well as time and attendance of staff entering and exiting the building. At Bathu we installed Impro Access control throughout the premises included anti-passback and time & Attendance with back-to-back card readers per door. Wisenet CCTV was installed around the perimeter of the premises including high-risk areas within the office space and warehouse. Intruder detection was installed on all fire escape and access control doors to notify security of any intrusion or doors being left open.
Integrated electronic services play an important role for a business such as Bathu to communicate and run the operations and admin functions required from such a business. We as Agera provided for the server room, network infrastructure such as network switches, structured cabling, and Wi-Fi to keep the business functional at all times, including a Yeastar PBX system with Yealink Phones for communication.
Audio Visual in the Boardrooms was provided using a Poly Studio X30 system that includes Audio, Microphone, and camera with a 65Inch Samsung Commercial TV display. These 2 x Rooms were strategically designed and allowed for Zoom integration as per Bathu’s standard requirement and were designed for BYOD and BYOM. A DSTV Distributed solution was offered for Bathu to be able to switch between Audio Visual and DSTV in Each room and other environments where TV’s were located.
Back Ground Music was designed for a great environment Bathu was trying to Implement for their staff. This was allowed through the entire building using a Bosch Solution that could be zoned according to Bathu’s decision on the day. With this smart solution music could be played in the office space, Warehouse or canteen or all areas at once. Bosch Colom speakers were allowed for in the warehouse that provided a smoothly distributed sound array throughout the whole area.
