Strategy & Approach

In preparation for the annual SLC Conference, and amid global travel restrictions at the time, it became critical to establish a fully 4K-capable auditorium with seamless video conferencing integration and intuitive one-touch control.

The challenge was significant:

• A complete rip-and-replace of the existing AV environment
• A strict four-day implementation window
• Global testing scheduled for 18:00 on the Sunday following installation
• Zero tolerance for delays or system instability
• Operation required without an onsite technical resource

Audionote delivered a fully integrated Enterprise Video Conferencing Solution designed for high-performance executive communication.

The system included:

• Dual 5200-lumen NEC laser projectors for left and right projection
• Two central 80” displays for video conferencing participants and additional content
• Dynamic content switching between projectors and displays during live sessions
• Wireless presentation via Barco ClickShare across all outputs
• Integration of the existing Cisco SX80 codec with dual-camera functionality
• 4K uncompressed signal distribution throughout the auditorium
• Ceiling speaker deployment for voice lift and balanced room coverage
• Professional Shure wireless microphones for presenters and audience interaction
• Complete room automation via Extron control, including lighting and blind integration

An intuitive Extron touch panel interface enables single-touch activation, automated preset switching between conferencing and presentation modes, and seamless control of all AV and environmental elements.
